Before choosing labels for your warehouse, consider factors such as humidity; temperature; dirt, dust, and small particle debris on shelves; and how to position labels for maximum visibility and utility and minimum friction.

• Adhesives are the only option for non-metal or non-magnetic shelves. On the other hand, they will not last in high humidity, extreme temperature, or high-dust/dirt environments.
• Magnets will work in any temperature, and can withstand dust and humidity. On the downside, they can be knocked out of place by large crates and high-friction situations.

What metals are magnetic? Magnets will not adhere to metals that do not contain iron, such as stainless steel or aluminum, but they will adhere to standard steel or painted steel shelving, which contains iron.

• Location Labels: Designed to fit on the front of individual shelves. Pre-printed with your product code or barcode, black letters/numbers on yellow background, adhesive or magnetic.

Location signs are used to label aisles or sections of a warehouse. All are pre-printed with one or two characters on a yellow background and laminated. Can also be left blank and used as a dry-erase surface.

• Small Location Sign: Measures 6” x 6”, ceiling- or shelf-mount.
• Medium Location Sign: Measures 8” x 8”, ceiling- or shelf-mount.
