Composition:
The black/yellow non-skid safety tape features a 32 mil. 60 grit silicon carbide (black) and aluminum oxide (yellow) face to provide excellent traction and slip resistance. The underside of the tape utilizes an aggressive acrylic adhesive, achieving superior adhesion and safety. The adhesive is pressure sensitive, which allows optimal grip to any clean, dry surface.
Application:
For the best results, the surface must be clean and dry, with a minimum surface temperature of 50° F. Anti-slip tapes cannot be successfully applied over loose or caked dirt, gravel, oily residues, road salt residues, or other foreign substances as these will interfere with proper bonding. Simply remove the protective liner and place the tape in proper alignment. Use foot pressure, a roller, or soft rubber mallet to bond the tape in place. Please review the manufacturer's application instructions for more detailed information. Allow a minimum of 30 minutes for the tape to charge for maximum brightness.
