Composition
Our anti-slip tape consists of a uniform closed coat of near diamond-hard abrasive grit of variable sizes to be utilized for many different applications. It is securely bonded to a polymer substrate with a flexible polymeric binder in sufficient thickness to achieve optimum bond and grit exposure. The underside features a special pressure-sensitive adhesive designed to aggressively adhere to practically any clean, dry surface.
Application
For the best results, the surface must be clean and dry, with a minimum surface temperature of 50° F. Anti-slip tapes cannot be successfully applied over loose or caked dirt, gravel, oily residues, road salt residues, or other foreign substances as these will interfere with proper bonding. Simply remove the protective liner and place the tape in proper alignment. Use foot pressure, a roller, or soft rubber mallet to bond the tape in place.
