This primer, also called sealer, is recommended for use when applying temporary pavement marking tapes (Wet Reflective, Construction Grade, and Black-Out Striping) in temperatures below 50 degrees Farenheit. This primer will help the tape adhere to any paved surface during cold temperatures (less than 50 degrees F) or excessive periods of precipitation. If the pavement is freshly paved, or if the climate is warm and rainfall is not expected in the next 24 horus, then the primer is not necessary.
One quart (0.91 liters) of primer is sufficient for a 4" x 150 foot (10.1 cm x 45.7 m) roll of tape. The primer may be applied with a phenolic paint roller, brush or sprayer. Let primer dry until it does not transfer when touched before installing tape.
CAUTION! This primer is Extremely Flammable & Vapor Harmful. Keep product and its vapors away from heat, sparks and open flames. The vapors given off may be ignited easily and can result in flash fire. Contains petroleum distillate MEK (methylethyl ketone), acetone, toluene, hexane or heptane. Use only in well ventilated areas with enough air movement to remove vapors and prevent vapor buildup. Avoid prolonged breathing of vapor. Avoid eye contact.
