Glow in the dark anti-slip tape is superb for stairways and walkways where safety goes beyond just slip resistance and requires a product to mark the boundaries of the surface it is applied to when there is little to no lighting available. It provides a safe walkway for people who need this area to work in or exit from when lighting is insufficient or completely absent. Our NiteGlow anti-slip tape provides exceptional luminescence for six hours. The tape can be recharged in as little as 30 minutes by either natural or incandescent light.

Composition

Our anti-slip tape consists of a uniform closed coat of near diamond-hard abrasive grit of variable sizes to be utilized for many different applications. It is securely bonded to a polymer substrate with a flexible polymeric binder in sufficient thickness to achieve optimum bond and grit exposure. The underside features a special pressure-sensitive adhesive designed to aggressively adhere to practically any clean, dry surface.

Application

For the best results, the surface must be clean and dry, with a minimum surface temperature of 50° F. Anti-slip tapes cannot be successfully applied over loose or caked dirt, gravel, oily residues, road salt residues, or other foreign substances as these will interfere with proper bonding. Simply remove the protective liner and place the tape in proper alignment. Use foot pressure, a roller, or soft rubber mallet to bond the tape in place. Please review the manufacturer's application instructions for more detailed information. Allow a minimum of 30 minutes for the tape to charge for maximum brightness.
